Gemini, the crypto exchange founded by billionaire twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, has filed confidentially for an initial public offering, Bloomberg reported. The exchange is working with Goldman Sachs and Citi as advisers and may go public as soon as this year, the outlet said, citing people familiar with the matter. Kraken, another crypto exchange, is aiming for an IPO in 2026, Bloomberg reported.

A wave of crypto companies are gearing up to go public under a favorable regulatory environment. Circle also filed confidentially for an IPO in January 2024.
